Mindfulness practice is a foundational practice for skillful living. As a Mentor for Banyan, I mentor diverse, small groups for people to reflect, connect, and deepen their practice while in community with others.
I’ve had the honor of teaching alongside the renowned mindfulness teacher Tara Brach and presenting for diverse organizations from NASA to Haven House and the North Carolina Juvenile Services Association.
My passion is empowering people to live more peaceful and fulfilling lives, exploring topics such as Mindfulness, Mindset, Life Balance, Well-Being, Recovery, and Self-Care.
Let’s have a conversation about what I can offer to support the individuals or teams in your organization.
This course is for mindfulness and meditation teachers, coaches, healers, and space-holders who are deeply devoted to their practice—but unsure how to turn their offerings into sustainable, aligned income.

“A fabulous [group coaching] program. Clear and useful learnings from an excellent coach and other women experiencing various midlife transitions.”
“Sharon is sincere, warm and caring…most importantly, knowledgeable. I developed clarity of purpose and a new boldness that I never knew I possessed.”
“At the time I signed up for coaching with Sharon, I felt swamped by the challenge of figuring out what my next life steps are. Through Sharon’s insightful guidance, she has helped me focus on the right questions that have enabled me to see and embrace my true goals and desires!”
I discovered meditation and mindfulness when in early recovery from alcoholism in 1997 and have been studying and practicing ever since, beginning with Transcendental Meditation (TM) and MBSR, and now Vipassana for over 15 yrs. I completed the Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program (MMTCP) in 2019, and member of the International Mindfulness Teachers Association (IMTA).
I am a Founding Advisor and Mentor at Banyan, and a Mentor in the MMTCP program. I regularly offer dharma talks at the Triangle Insight Meditation Community in Durham, North Carolina.
I also am on the Boards of the Center for Mindful Self-Compassion with Kristin Neff and Chris Germer, and Peace at Any Pace with Noliwe Alexander, and I’ve been published in both Spirituality & Health and Thích Nhất Hạnh’s Mindfulness Bell Magazines.
