Group Mindfulness Mentoring

As a Founding Advisor and Mindfulness Mentor at Banyan, and Mentor in the Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program, I facilitate groups for support, reflection and connection to cultivate the application of mindfulness and meditation to daily life.

This immersive online program, guided by nine seasoned mindfulness teachers and mentors, is meticulously designed to elevate your career and empower you to become a proficient and self-assured mentor.  Next cohort starts August 28, 2024.

Mindfulness practice is a foundational practice for skillful living. As a Mentor for Banyan, I mentor diverse, small groups for people to reflect, connect, and deepen their practice while in community with others.

About Me

I discovered meditation and mindfulness when in early recovery from alcoholism in 1997 and have been studying and practicing ever since, beginning with Transcendental Meditation (TM) and now Vipassana for over 15 yrs. I completed the Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program (MMTCP) in 2019, and member of the International Mindfulness Teachers Association (IMTA).

I am a Founding Advisor and Mentor at Banyan, and a Mentor in the MMTCP program. I regularly offer dharma talks at the Triangle Insight Meditation Community in Durham, North Carolina.

I also am on the Boards of the Center for Mindful Self-Compassion with Kristin Neff and Chris Germer, and Peace at Any Pace with Noliwe Alexander, and I’ve been published in both Spirituality & Health and Thích Nhất Hạnh’s Mindfulness Bell Magazines.
